Paul iii and I arrived at Colorado Bend State Park around 8:30 p.m. Josh, John and his daughter had already arrived. Steve arrived a few minutes after and after setting up our shelters sat down for some good old fashion BS. Brett arrived a short time later and we all sat around getting caught up until around 12:00-12:30am. The next morning we got up around 7:30 a.m. A.J. and Alice had arrived some time during the night and we all got together to meet. We all decided that we would hike the Spicewood Springs trail over to the Windmill camp and stay the night.
